Am I the ah ?
My partner has been invited to a ‘friendsmas’ 4 hours away . His friend that is hosting has been using him for years and just yesterday was using our house to keep his car at while he went away with his girlfriend , getting my partner to drive them 30 minutes across town to the train station and back for free , as an example . Earlier this year , he had purchased car paint that he was going to use for HIS car but hasn’t had the time lately to do it .
His friend wanted it , so as the nice guy my partner is he gave it to him . While collecting the paint , he apparently forgot how to knock on the front door and decided to hit out bedroom window as hard as he could . I had just gotten out of hospital that night . This is where my issue started with his friend because he didn’t even apologise . Now , I’m angry that my partner keeps this friend around and is considering going to this ‘friendsmas’ and won’t take me or plan anything with me becaude his friend can’t apologise to me . His friends girlfriend had also made moves , insinuating a 3sum with him and his friend . Am I the ah for not wanting him to go especially if I’m not present ? I’m upset , and he doesn’t think it’s ’Christmas’ but it’s on Christmas Eve . He will be drinking so won’t be able to come home the next day as the drive is long , therefore not spending Christmas with me . He was raised not doing any traditions relating to holidays ect , and this will be the first he said he would do with me as I went away to see family last year (because he doesn’t celebrate) . We have been together for a year and a half , and I don’t like the way this friend has treated him (much more examples but I don’t want to make this to long) and I don’t agree that he should be there woth a girl who has made moves on him in front of me .
