So AITA for accidentally being nosey?
I was shopping in a small store last night and in one of the aisle there were some teens sitting on the floor, looking at some toys on the shelf.
I was standing a few feet from them looking at the shelf when the teenage boy was like: “Hey, look what I found!”.
Now I’m neurodivergent so I don’t completely notice my surroundings all the time, so I don’t realize that he’s directing the comment to the guy leaning on the wall behind me so I glance over at the teen.
The teen glares at me from the floor and rudely says “No one’s talking to you, b*tch.”
I was completely taken back, I didn’t realize I was doing anything to warrant such a reaction and honestly offended.
I’m like “Excuse me? Wow!”as I leave the aisle completely flabbergasted by his reaction.
Like was I accidentally the asshole for being nosey or something?
