ETA – the girl said she can take $102. I was going to put the $2 on my card so my daughter could spend her christmas money.

Hectic, awful day at the mall yesterday but my daughter was dying to go so we went and braved the lines. At the last store, I may have been at the end of my rope because the girl at the register really annoyed me. Maybe because at the first store the register girl asked if I wanted a tiny bag for .10 and I said no thank you. She put it in a bag and charged me .10 and I let it go. Anyway, at the last store.. the girl said paying cash or card. I said cash. She said, I don’t have enough change in my drawer. I said ok, cash and rest in card? She said ok. So at the end, came to $101 something and my daughter said is 102 ok? She says yes, I just can’t give you the penny back. So she said oh I’m sorry, it’s 4 pennies, sorry and closed her drawer. I said ok then you give a nickel back. She said I can’t, I already closed the register. Then I was like 
maybe get a manager? She was very annoyed but got the manager and I got my nickel back. I was annoyed because who let this girl on a register? Her mass confusion with the exchange of money is not my problem. My daughter said I should have let it go and she was embarrassed. Aita?
