AITA for insisting we remove two of our cats?
Me and my partner (both early 20’s) have been together for a while now.

We have had many animals through are life together but we have to many. We can’t find a place to let us have them all, and can’t afford to buy a house in which we can keep them all. Nor can we really afford to take care of them all, it’s way too much. I have been homeless before because of my partners unwillingness to remove the animals. During that time my partner had a great place to stay in which I couldn’t come because I had to deal with the dogs, which left me homeless for about 2 months. I told her that if we were going to move back in together we needed to downsize the animals in which she agreed to.
That was almost 2 years ago, and we still have them. We plan on moving out of state soon, which has really made me double down on the agreement we had, I’ve been homeless multiple times in my life and know its not good for my mental health to have to hold onto the fear every single day, and that’s the only way I know how to stop that…
I should add, i love these animals, and if it didn’t have to be this way I would never in a million years be doing this. These cats are my family, and while i hate it, i cant find another way out.
Recently we have been giving an opportunity to remhome them, and we plan on taking them to there new home tomorrow morning, but she’s very upset, and I feel she may resent me for putting my foot down with this.
I just gotta know if I’m making the right decision…
