AITA if im considering ending it with my boyfriend over cats?

Sounds stupid but just listen lol i (F22) have been with my boyfriend (M23) for three years. we share a two year old son together as well as three cats. (i’ve known him since we were 12 years old, no, i did not barely know him before having said child ect) two of them kittens. I started noticing when he told me he wanted to play with the cats ect they’d continuously sound like they were fighting or afraid, (hissing, things falling over etc) i have seen him with my own eyes and heard with my own ears “im just playing, jesus.
” as the cats are visibly afraid of him. he will spin them in circles to get dizzy, he’ll dangle them in the air, he’ll trap them in boxes or bins. i decided to write this post after i was cleaning our couch off and getting ready to take the cushion covers to the laundry when he brought a kitty in. when he got up to grab something he hovered his foot over the kitty, which in turn obviously made it afraid. i asked him to please put the kitty away as its not comfortable. he then grabbed the second kitty we have.

the kitty that is actually going to a new home today, my parents as my sister wants it. i asked him then to please put the cat meant for my sister away as hell rile it up and make it aggressive for my sister when she’s done nothing to it, i told him he’s making them afraid of human interaction. he then grabbed all his things and threw the cat in the washroom where we keep the foot and litter ect and slammed his bedroom door shut. am i the ahole if im considering taking a break or leaving due to this? i’m so, so, conflicted.
thank you if you’ve read this far, i truly appreciate it.
