AITA for not wearing a bra in my own yard?
I (f54) am a single professional who lives alone. I’m on a friendly nod and wave basis with most of my neighbors. I’m not super well endowed and not horrible to look at but I’m no young hottie. I’m quiet and keep to myself. I bother no one. There’s an older couple who lives across from me. I’ve talked to them a handful of times. I maintain my own yard, etc etc etc….I’m outside about every weekend keeping up on things, washing my car, etc.
About a month ago or so, the wife came over to me while I was outside and told me that I make her husband uncomfortable when I’m outside without a bra and asked me if I would please wear a bra when I’m outside. I told her no… that I have to dress professionally all week and at home I am going to be comfortable…and that I don’t think it’s her husband that’s uncomfortable with it. She told me I’m committing a crime and she will turn me in. I told her to show me the statute that says I have to wear a bra anywhere, let alone in my own yard. Obviously that’s not a thing. Now almost every time I am outside she comes out, stands there with her arms crossed and gives me the evil eye, so I wave and smile and go on about my business. I know it burns her a$$ and I may be the AH because I get a little chuckle out of that
