AITA? My neighbor gave my cell # out to a friend, he sent me $50 via Zelle.
I got the email from Zelle, then a text from her ‘hey honey my friend just sent you money thru Zelle can you get it out the bank for me?” AITA for flat out refusing? Little background – I lent her $20 2 weeks ago, she didn’t ‘pay’ me back until this last Friday morning, to which she then asked 3 hours later for $50 from me. I told her I didn’t have it to lend this close to Christmas, to take the $20 back she gave me this morning. Then I get the Zelle email that her friend sent me money. The kicker is, my account is negative $150, it brought it to negative $100. I literally don’t have it to give, and am also hesitant because of scams. Who just decides to have their friend send their neighbor money, and ask the neighbor after the fact to go out and get it? I’m working fifteen 9 hour days straight. I don’t have time to go to the bank. AITA for refusing to send anything back (not that I could lol) and for ending the relationship?
