I’ve never believed in the whole “relationship break” thing—it’s either we’re together or we’re not. But when my boyfriend said he needed time and space to “work on himself,” I didn’t push back. I let him go.
What I didn’t expect was for him to vanish completely for six weeks… no calls, no texts, just silence. Then, out of nowhere, he shows up and yells at me: “I knew you’d do that, traitor!”
Apparently, I was unknowingly part of some emotional loyalty test he invented in his mind—and I “failed.”
